Paper Submission Deadline:
July 12, 2019 (AoE)
Conference Dates:
December 16 - 20, 2019
ICISS is a venue for disseminating research results on all topics related to information security and systems security, broadly construed. Topics in scope include, but are not limited to:
This year, we invite papers in two categories
Papers of both categories must be formatted in the Springer Verlag LNCS style and submitted in PDF form. Formatting templates are available at the following url: https://www.springer.com/de/it-informatik/lncs/conference-proceedings-guidelines.
All papers may include clearly marked appendices of any length necessary. However, reviewers are not obliged to read the appendices, so papers must be intelligible without them. The final published versions of regular and WiP papers will be limited to 20 and 12 pages respectively. The review process is single-blind, meaning that author names will be visible to reviewers. Consequently, papers do not have to be anonymized.
Papers must be submitted via HotCRP at https://iciss2019.mpi-sws.org. During submission, authors must mark PC members with conflicts of interest, and list any other conflicted researchers. The following are all conflicts: past students and advisers, people with the same affiliation, any recent (~2 years) coauthors and collaborators, relatives, and close personal friends. Professional acquaintances are not conflicts unless they fall in one of previous categories.
Submissions not adhering to the guidelines risk rejection without review.
All papers (regular and WiP) will be published in the conference proceedings, which will appear as a volume of the LNCS series of Springer Verlag. Authors of accepted papers will be asked to transfer copyright to Springer Verlag.
